We chose Mike Goubran with Carolina Custom Homes and Renovations based on the quality of his previous work as well as the specific conversations with Mike on our chosen plan. From the beginning Mike was up front about the details of the home plan, including making recommendations for changes that enhanced both the livability and aesthetics of the home. Once we began construction it was quite evident that Mike was capable of fully executing that plan, giving us a beautiful home that we can see ourselves in for decades, not just years. Mike was upfront about both the timeline as well as the costs associated with changes once construction began.

In the end, Mike and Carolina Custom Homes delivered a home that significantly exceeded our expectations. After recently purchasing a home in Charlotte, we needed the services of a contractor for several improvement projects. Being new to this area, we knew little of the building and contracting providers in Charlotte. As it turned out, we were extremely fortunate to be referred to Mike Goubran, the owner of Carolina Development and Properties. From our very first meeting, it was patently obvious that we had the best. Mike Goubran is just the nicest, most professional and honest service provider we have ever encountered. From the smallest project to the largest renovation, Mike patiently identified and explained all of our options to make sure we received the finished project that we wanted and could afford. From start to finish, Mike was hands on and was always immediately accessible to address any uninformed concerns we may have had. In addition, all the different workers his company brought into our home couldn’t have been better or nicer or more professional. Any incidental problems were always immediately addressed.
We have come to rely so much on Mike Goubran and Carolina Development and Properties that we have given Mike permanent possession of our house key. Our only regret is that Carolina Development and Properties did not build our home from scratch.

To whom it may concern:
We contracted Mr. Mike Goubran of Carolina Custom Homes and Renovations, LLC to build a “Sunroom” as an addition to our house in June of last year. Mr. Goubran had the complete responsibility from acquiring a permit to construction and finishing the sunroom.
Mr. Goubran got the county permits and sub-contractors to finish our sunroom. The sub-contractors were of very high quality and very cordial. They made appropriate changes, where needed. The work done was of very high quality. During the construction, they cleaned the premises very well so we didn’t have any hardship. They finished the job on time and with in budget.
They have been very responsive and stood behind their work. They even made few additional repairs which they were not responsible for. Overall, we are very satisfied and highly recommend him and his company to anyone for any home construction job.
